Workshop on Inclusive Humanitarian Response

CBM organised a workshop on Planning and Managing Disability Inclusive Humanitarian Response from May 30th to June 03rd, 2011 in New Delhi, India.
CBM SARO(N)’s engagement in humanitarian response is meant to help local affected communities in maintaining and restoring minimum quality of life with human dignity and respect of basic human rights, in the minimum time possible.
CBM SARO(N) in collaboration with RedR India organized a five day workshop on Planning & Managing Inclusive Humanitarian Response.
26 participants in this workshop included representatives from – CBM partner organizations from India, Nepal & Bangladesh, RedR India, Sphere India and State Disaster Management Authority (Govt. of India) contributed in deliberations to develop a strategy for CBM SARON.
The training program was concluded by Vikrant Mahajan - (CEO – Sphere India) who highlighted the focus of Sphere for inclusion of all vulnerable groups in the new humanitarian guidelines released in 2011.
